It’s a badly worded sentence, I guess. I meant that approval was the first step, and it looked like approval was originally going to be denied. but now, the commission has voted to approve the rezoning.

That said, the city council still has to vote on whether or not to let them move in. It isn’t over yet.

Hey, just wanted to clear one thing up. You said that “it appeared that the planning commission would deny the request to rezone the property, which would be the first step toward allowing Scientology to move in.” Then that the “planning commission has recommended approval of the rezoning request. It looks like Scientology’s move into Sandy Springs, and its subsequent expansion is closer than ever now.”

It is actually the approval that allows them to move in, not the denial of the approval. So, bottom line – watch out for the engrams!
