Drive/Taxi:
The Math & Science Center is about 5 miles from the midtown hotels. A cab would be approximately $20. Looking to share a cab or do you have extra space in your car? Help each other out at the Star Party Ride/Cab Share discussion forum!
Parking is free at all Emory lots after 5:00 p.m.
If you’re driving and want to park on campus the two best options are Peavine and Fishburne parking decks. To get to Fishburne (this is assuming you are coming from downtown) take Freedom Parkway to Ponce de Leon to Briarcliff, hang a left. Head down Briarcliff to North Decatur-Take a right. Take North Decatur down past Emory Village and the main Emory entrance continue until you see a parking deck on the left-this is Fishburne-take a left into the parking deck and park to your hearts content! It’s free parking after 5:00 pm on campus. From that point follow the directions on the campus map to the Math and Science Building.
Peavine is a little more tricky, but closer to the venue. Come from downtown the same way , but once you get to Emory Village, take a left on Oxford (at the big 5-way intersection), drive a ways down until you can take a right onto Eagle Row and follow that around till you see Peavine Deck on the Left. It’s then just a walk back up Eagle Row until it intersects with Dowman Drive and the Math and Science build is on the left.
If taking a cab the best way to get to the Math and Science building is to take a left into the Emory Entrance off of North Decatur at the Emory Village 5-way intersection and Follow Dowman Drive (even though it seems like there is construction in the way-don’t worry-Dowman goes right through the middle of it) and once you clear the construction the Math and Science Building is on the left just before Dowman ends and intersects with Eagle Row. You can also get to the venue by taking the directions to the Peavine deck, but instead of following Eagle Row, just stop at the intersection of Oxford and Eagle row, the Math and Science build is on your right.
The Math and Science Center is a newish building with a big observatory dome on the top! There is also a big glass atrium facing Oxford rd.
